Runs in
A cleanup is the reset. In spring it clears out whatever the winter left so the first cut and the first mulch have something to sit on. In fall it gets the leaves off the turf before they mat down, hold water and smother the grass into bare patches you are reseeding next April.

Fall cleanups fill up first. Getting on the list in September is the difference between one visit and waiting.

On heavy leaf properties, an early pass takes the bulk off before the trees finish dropping.

Full cleanup once the trees are bare, so the property goes into winter clean.

Everything leaves on the trailer. No bags left at the curb waiting on a township pickup schedule.

About cleanups
When should a fall cleanup be scheduled?
Most properties in Lower Bucks need the final cleanup between the first week of November and mid December, once the oaks have finished dropping. Properties with heavy tree cover do better with two passes, one in late October and a final one once everything is down, so leaves never sit long enough to mat the turf.
Is a spring cleanup necessary if you did a fall cleanup?
It is lighter, but still worth doing. Winter puts down sticks, blown leaves and matted debris in bed corners, and perennials left standing for winter interest need cutting back before new growth starts. A spring cleanup is also the right time to cut fresh bed edges before mulch goes down.
Where do the leaves go?
On the trailer and off the property. Some customers prefer leaves piled at the curb for township vacuum pickup, which can be done instead if you tell us up front. Otherwise everything is hauled and disposed of and there is nothing left at the house.
