Runs in

A lawn that gets cut on a schedule looks different than a lawn that gets cut when someone remembers. The stripes in the photos are not a filter. They come from cutting at the right height, keeping the blades sharp, and running the same direction pattern every week so the grass learns to lay over.

What is included

Every visit, not every other visit

  • Mowing at the right height

Cool season grass in this area holds up better cut high. Scalping a lawn in July is what turns it brown, not the heat.

  • String trimming

Around posts, foundations, trees, mailboxes and anything the deck cannot reach.

  • Hard edging

Along driveways, sidewalks and curbs so the turf line stays where it belongs instead of creeping onto the concrete.

  • Full blow off

Clippings blown off every hard surface before the trailer gets loaded. No green dust on the driveway.

  • Clipping handling

Mulched back into the lawn on a normal cut. Bagged and hauled when the growth is too heavy to leave.

About grass mowing

How often should a lawn in Bucks County be mowed?

Weekly from April through June, when the grass is growing hardest. Every other week is usually enough in the heat of July and August, then weekly again in September and October. Cutting more than a third of the blade at once stresses the plant, so stretching a weekly lawn to three weeks usually costs more in recovery than it saves.

Do you bag the clippings?

Not on a normal cut. Mulched clippings break down fast and put nitrogen back in the soil, which means less fertilizer over the season. When the lawn has gotten ahead of us after rain, or when the clumps would smother the turf, the clippings get bagged and hauled off the property.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No long term contract is required to start service. Set up weekly or every other week service and it runs on that schedule through the season. If something is not right, say so and it gets fixed on the next visit or sooner.
